Alliance Française Johannesburg and Soweto Welcomes New Director

The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) congratulates Gaëlle Le Breton on her appointment as the new Director of Alliance Française Johannesburg and Soweto.
Ms. Le Breton is a teacher by profession with extensive experience in education and cultural exchange. She has previously led several Alliances Françaises, where she developed programmes that promoted the French language and strengthened intercultural connections within local communities.
Her appointment marks a new chapter for Alliance Française Johannesburg and Soweto, institutions that play a key role in advancing French language education and cultural engagement in South Africa. Le Breton aims to build on this legacy by continuing to support teachers, students, and cultural partners through innovative learning experiences and collaborative projects.
Her leadership is expected to enhance the visibility of the French language and culture in Johannesburg and Soweto while creating new opportunities for exchange between France and South Africa.
