The Beaujolais Nouveau celebration in Durban took place on 20 November 2025 at Grimaldi’s Durban Country Club.
The event was hosted by Alliance Française de Durban with the support of the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI).
It was a full-house event. Guests enjoyed French live music and a French-inspired three-course meal. The gathering brought together members, partners, French & Francophile community, and guests from the French–South African business world.
Attendees connected over networking conversations and enjoyed the first pour of the 2025 Beaujolais Nouveau.
The evening was made possible through the involvement of Africa Global Logistics (AGL), Grimaldi’s Durban Country Club, the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry NPC, Club Med, and Stratogo.
The raffle helped collect a wonderful amount that will enable underprivileged students learning French at the universities of Durban, UKZN and DUT, to take their DELF exam with tailored preparation — a true passport to pursuing their academic and professional ambitions.
Their participation supported an event that strengthened ties within the French–South African network and encouraged continued engagement in the Durban business community.
