On 25 June 2026, professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders gathered at the President Hotel in Cape Town for the Multi-Chamber Networking Event, hosted in partnership with seven bilateral chambers of commerce. The evening provided a valuable platform for participants to build meaningful business connections, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities across industries and international markets.

The event commenced with a keynote address by David Ansara, the CEO of Free Market Foundation, who shared insights on the evolving business landscape and the importance of collaboration in navigating today's economic environment. His presentation encouraged attendees to consider the opportunities that arise through strategic partnerships and cross-border engagement.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the structured speed networking session, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants. The interactive format enabled attendees to engage with a wide range of professionals in a short period, facilitating introductions, conversations, and the exchange of ideas in an energetic and productive setting.

Reflecting on the event, Gilles Blanc, a Steering Committee Board Member of FSACCI who attended the evening, noted the impressive turnout and described the speed networking session as the standout feature of the program. He observed that participants embraced the format enthusiastically, making it the most engaging part of the event and an approach that could serve as inspiration for future networking initiatives.

With a strong attendance and representation from seven bilateral chambers, the event demonstrated the value of collaboration in strengthening South Africa's international business community. It offered members an opportunity to broaden their professional networks, identify potential partnerships, and engage with organizations across diverse industries and markets.

FSACCI extends its sincere appreciation to the partner chambers, the organizers, keynote speaker David Ansara, and all attendees who contributed to the success of the evening. The positive reception of the speed networking format reinforced the importance of creating interactive platforms that encourage meaningful engagement, collaboration, and business growth.
