BlueInvest Africa 2024: Empowering African SMMEs to Drive Blue Economy Innovation

BlueInvest Africa is calling on Small, Micro, and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMMEs) across Africa to join the 'Become a Pitcher' initiative during its highly anticipated second edition.

Conceived by the European Commission, this business-to-business event is set to take place on July 3-4, 2024, in the scenic Republic of Kenya, Kwale County.

Deadline for Pitching Applications: Friday, January 26

With a core mission to foster collaboration between African entrepreneurs seeking financing and investors exploring untapped opportunities in Africa's thriving blue economy, the initiative is set to showcase 30 outstanding pitchers representing cutting-edge companies in diverse blue economy sectors across the continent.

From early-stage concepts to fully developed solutions, this event provides a unique platform for project presentation.

Successful pitchers not only gain the spotlight but also secure opportunities to engage with public and private investors, access expert coaching and mentoring, and build valuable connections within the vibrant community of African project holders actively involved in blue initiatives.

The event's diverse audience, including private banks, equity funds, and investment groups from Europe and Africa, signals a collective commitment to investing in the sustainable future of the blue economy.

Beyond the pitching sessions, BlueInvest Africa 2024 seeks to involve other African SMMEs with groundbreaking ideas, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to support innovative growth.
