Club Med Showcases Future of Tourism at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2025
As a platinum member of the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), Club Med joined the continent’s largest tourism event, Africa’s Travel Indaba, held in Durban from 13 to 15 May 2025.
The Club Med team engaged with key government and tourism leaders, including Minister of Tourism Patricia de Lille, who shared her gratitude and optimism seeing Club Med arrive in South Africa and stated, “With Club Med, we’ll be able to position new experiences as part of the diversity of tourism offerings available in our country.”
Ahead of the Indaba, Club Med hosted G20 delegates at the site of its upcoming Beach & Safari Resort on KwaZulu-Natal’s North Coast. This visit highlighted the international interest in South Africa’s growing tourism sector.
