Club Med South Africa Construction Progressing Well
Club Med, a platinum member of FSACCI, continues to make significant strides in the construction of its first South African resort, slated to open in July 2026.
Olivier Perillat, Managing Director at Club Med Southern Africa, expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from South Africans. "This project will be transformative for KwaZulu-Natal and South African tourism," he stated.
Construction is progressing on schedule, with the hotel section, villas, and conference center all showing substantial progress. The project is committed to sustainable practices, aiming for a 4-star GBCSA rating.
Club Med South Africa will offer a unique blend of beach relaxation and safari experiences, including the first-ever Club Med surf school.
This development is a significant milestone for both Club Med and South Africa's tourism sector, showcasing a successful partnership between global expertise and local communities.
