Farewell to Chloé Beukes: Thank You for a Great Two Months

This week, the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) says goodbye to Chloé Beukes, who joined the team in Johannesburg for a two-month internship.

Chloé is a French-South African national and a student at EMLyon Business School. She previously attended the International French School in Johannesburg, where she graduated as Valedictorian. Her time at the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry allowed her to build on her academic knowledge while connecting with the professional world in South Africa.

Chloé joined the Chamber to gain practical experience in a setting that reflects both her cultural backgrounds. “As a French-South African dual national, FSACCI was the ideal place to connect with both cultures I know deeply,” she shared. “This internship gave me hands-on experience and helped me understand the business landscape better.”

During her internship, she worked across key areas such as event planning, member engagement, content creation, CRM updates, and marketing material design. These tasks helped sharpen her skills in communication, project coordination, and digital marketing.

Reflecting on her experience, Chloé said that helping to organise FSACCI’s Mandela Day event was especially meaningful. “It really highlighted the impact our work can have beyond business,” she said. She also noted how welcomed and trusted she felt from day one.

Chloé became a valued member of the team. Her professionalism and commitment left a strong impression. The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry thanks her for her contributions and wishes her all the best in her next chapter.
