Are you, or someone in your network, interested in joining a dynamic international business community? The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) is currently recruiting for two open positions at our Johannesburg office: a full-time Manager for Events and Member Experience, and a short-term Event Coordinator Internship. We invite qualified and motivated candidates to apply and join our team in strengthening the Franco-South African business community.
Manager – Events and Member Experience (Full-Time, Permanent)
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead FSACCI’s events and member engagement activities. This strategic role involves coordinating our events calendar, shaping the member experience, and overseeing marketing and communication alignment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and delivering business-focused events
• Engaging with members and stakeholders
• Validating communications initiatives in line with member expectations
• Managing budgets and developing partnerships
Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and fluency in both French and English. Applicants must have legal authorisation to work in South Africa.

Event Coordinator – Internship (3 Months, Renewable)
We are also offering a three-month internship opportunity for a motivated candidate interested in gaining experience in international event coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting event logistics and planning
• Assisting with sponsorships and invitations
• Managing participant communication and database updates
• Collaborating across departments as needed
The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or a related field, with fluency in English and proficiency in event tools and platforms.
French is an advantage. The internship includes a stipend of R8 000 per month and may require availability after hours or on weekends.
