As part of Women's Month celebrations, Forvis Mazars in South Africa has launched the Forvis Mazars Women's Business Club, a new initiative aimed at creating meaningful opportunities for senior women leaders to connect, collaborate and support one another.
Held at our Johannesburg offices, the inaugural event brought together an inspiring group of 60 influential women from across industries for an evening centred on relationship-building, and leadership. The launch marked the beginning of a bi-monthly platform designed to strengthen professional networks, encourage mentorship and create a community where women can learn from and inspire one another.
The evening featured insightful keynote addresses and engaging networking opportunities, providing attendees with valuable perspectives on leadership, personal growth and the importance of fostering inclusive business communities. The discussions highlighted the significant impact that strong networks and collaborative relationships can have in supporting women throughout their leadership journeys.
A key highlight of the event was the contribution of distinguished speakers, AOS Director and Monarch Committee Co-founder, Zizikazi Vikilahle; CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in South Africa, Michelle Constant; and Women in Mining South Africa (WiMSA) Board Member, Raksha Naidoo who shared their personal experiences, professional insights and perspectives on leadership. Their stories resonated deeply with attendees and reinforced the importance of creating spaces where women can exchange knowledge, support each other's growth and champion future leaders.
The launch event was made even more impactful through collaboration with several respected business and professional organisations, including WiMSA, the American, French, South African, Zimbabwean and Singaporean bilateral chambers of commerce.
These partnerships reflect a shared commitment to advancing women's leadership and creating opportunities for professional development, collaboration and economic participation.
The launch of the Forvis Mazars Women's Business Club represents an important milestone in strengthening our commitment to diversity, inclusion and leadership development. We look forward to expanding this community and creating even more opportunities for women to connect, collaborate and drive positive impact within their industries and beyond.
