Official visit of the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs
The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in a special reception organised at the residence of the French Embassy in South Africa to celebrate the visit of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs in South Africa Catherine Colonna, as well as the MP of the French National Assembly of French persons living abroad in Africa and the Middle East Amélia LAKRAFI.
During the evening, French Minister Catherine Colonna emphasised the importance of French-South African cooperation in the economic and trade spheres, in education, and in the context of the Ukraine war.
The Minister also met with French corporate stakeholders who are assisting South Africa in the fields of renewable energy and technology. The Minister emphasised the importance of French firms, associations, and other institutions that help to promote ties between our both countries.
