A Volontaire International en Entreprise (V.I.E) or International Internship in a Company is a program by the French government that recruits young individuals between the ages of 18 and 28 to work full-time for a French company abroad for 6 to 24 months. The program is specifically for French citizens and citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) and is supported by the French embassy and Business France in each V.I.E. approving country.
