David FrenchTax Consulting Director at Mazars

David joined Mazars as a Director - Tax Consulting in July 2017 and focuses on all areas of corporate tax, including tax restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, financial services and instruments, international tax and exchange control.

Prior to joining Mazars, David was employed by the South African Revenue Service where his primary responsibility was the identification and investigation of tax avoidance structures and administration of the Reportable Arrangement regime. David was also involved with the OECD Base Erosion & Profit Shifting project, as well as providing technical review for the Transfer Pricing team.

David’s first 15 years were spent with a Big 4 accounting firm where he was involved in, amongst other things, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions and transaction structuring.
