The Annual General Meeting 2022 will be hold both in Johannesburg and Cape Town

The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) is pleased to invite all its members, in good standing, to take part in our upcoming AGM.

The Annual General Meeting of the FSACCI is a great opportunity for us to present this past year's achievements. Kindly note that this event will be held in Johannesburg and Cape Town.  

Following the AGM; you are invited to join a Cocktail Networking in both Johannesburg and Cape Town (please register to the Cocktail Networking here)

  • Date: Thursday 15th of September 2022
  • Time: be present by 16.30 for a start at 17.00. The AGM will end at 18.30

Board Candidates 2022

Lee CHANA - Partner at Fliptin Technologies

Ms Leevashri Chana is a software development professional, with degrees in IT and Technology Management. She held several technology-focused roles in a corporate career spanning 13 years before joining Fliptin Technologies as Head of Product in 2016.

Her interests in technology, education, women and community have led to her positions as co-founder of Certtin, director of the non-profit AI in Africa and board advisor of Fields Data, a non-profit that focuses on data collection for humanitarian disaster management.

Lee has graduated with an MBA from the University of Liverpool with a dissertation examining the challenges faced by women leaders in ICT and became a partner at Fliptin in 2017. 

 

Francois DE THOMASSON - Regional Chief Financial Officer Southern Africa at Bollore Transports & Logistics

After graduating from Paris with a Master in Business Law and a Business School diploma, Francois de Thomasson started his professional work life in 1999 as an auditior for Ernst & Young.

After six years, he joined Bollore Group’s audit department and moved very soon to an expat position for its Transport & Logistics Division, firstly in Singapore for 7 years (as South East Asia Financial Controller), in Delhi for 6 years (as Regional CFO for South Africa Region covering 12 countries). 

On top of his professional responsibilities; Francois is also acting as  CCEF since 2017 at India’s Committee.

 

Cedric SERRE - Regional Business Developer Cotecna

Cedric  moved to South Africa in 1994 and it has been his hub ever since.  After studying Business and International Trade Relations, he worked in the logistics, trade and quality control industry. He has held management positions at international companies as well as co founded an innovative startup within his field. 

He is driven and dedicated and would like to play an active role in the business community by helping to promote international trade between France and South Africa.

 

Roger LATCHMAN - Executive Chairman at Maruti Global

Roger Latchman is the Honorary Consul-General of Georgia in Johannesburg. He is a Chartered Director, and an internationally Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. He holds a Master of Laws degree. Some courses he has attended: Global Executive Development Programme / Accelerated Director Programme / Chairman’s Programme / Social & Ethics Committee / International Trade & Facilitation / Summer Campus of the International Anti-Corruption Academy.

Roger holds the position of Executive Chairman for Maruti Global. He has undertaken business visits to over 60 countries, and has accompanied the President of SA on official state missions. Previously an Associate Director at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance division.
