This visa allows applicants to live and work in South Africa for up to 36 months. ANGELIKA YAKOVCHUK – Partner and Director at Werthschroder Attorneys. She earned her BA and LLB degrees at the University of Witwatersrand. Held a position of Vice President of The French South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Currently hold a position of Senior Council Advisor at the Chamber. She specializes in strategic immigration advice to multinationals in South Africa, lobbying on behalf of multinationals with South African Government to optimize immigration processes, compliance and visa processing. In 2022, Ms Yakovchuk drafted and submitted to Home Affairs the proposal for a South African version of Remote Work Visa withing the framework of the Immigration Act, which was implemented earlier this year and formed part of recent legislative amendments, with the addition of taxation provision.
