Locally in South Africa, the fallout has significantly affected the economy and the way businesses are being run. The sustainability of many entities have now become a concern, exacerbated by allegations of corruption connected to Covid-19 funding earmarked for assisting ailing industries in these tumultuous times. The time for good governance to take precedence has never been greater.

Governance is crucial in responding to a crisis but it’s a precious commodity that, if mishandled, has consequences as deadly as those it seeks to resolve.
