Tourism Networking Event | Cape Town

Join us for an exceptional event with Wesgro and Minister Mireille Wenger, Western Cape Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities.

On Wednesday 15th November, the French South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry in collaboration with the Belgian Chamber of Commerce for Southern Africa will host the next Tourism Networking Event in Cape Town in partnership with Wesgro (Cape Town & Western Cape tourism, trade & investment).

After enduring the challenging times brought about by the pandemic, South Africa's tourism and hospitality sector now shines with renewed vigour. The Department of Tourism recorded more than 4.8 million international tourists visiting the country's shores between January and July 2023. This represents a remarkable 70.6% increase on the first seven months of 2022.

During the event, we will have the chance to listen to a presentation by Wesgro regarding key figures for tourism in Western Cape. And the privilege of welcoming Mireille Wenger, Western Cape Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities.

This presentation will lead to a panel discussion to address a common challenge: How to tackle a sector back on the rise ?
