The Belgian Chamber of Commerce in South Africa (BCCSA) recently hosted a BE Talks session focused on the tourism, travel, and hospitality sector — a key industry for many Belgian-linked businesses. The event brought together BCCSA members, tourism stakeholders, and hospitality professionals in a professional networking environment aimed at strengthening collaboration ahead of the upcoming tourism season.
The session featured short presentations by selected members, insightful panel discussions on current industry trends and challenges, and engaging conversations between tourism service providers and hospitality professionals. Key topics included improving accessibility for international tourists through multilingual support, as well as discussions around the relevance and future development of the “Experience Belgium” website.
Through this initiative, the BCCSA continues to play an active role in facilitating meaningful engagement, knowledge sharing, and partnership opportunities within the Belgian hospitality and tourism ecosystem in South Africa.
The event was proudly supported by Wesgro and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in South Africa, whose contribution helped strengthen industry collaboration and engagement throughout the session.
