The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) proudly participated in the Eswatini Investment Conference held on 14 and 15 May 2025.
FSACCI Vice Chairperson Thulisile Phiri and member Cotecna, one of the event sponsors, represented by Cedric Serre attending the event. The participation aimed to engaged with regional stakeholders and to explore opportunities for trade and investment and strengthen business ties across the region.
The event was hosted by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) - falling under the guidance of Eswatini's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade - at the Sharma House. The 2-day conference was hold under the themed “Creating Opportunities for Rapid Economic Transformation,” and focused on key sectors including mining, agribusiness, manufacturing, tourism, and energy.
The event was a great success and an important step towards advancing bilateral cooperation and exploring new trade routes in Southern Africa. A defining outcome of the conference was the announcement of over E37 billion in investment pledges, marking a significant step in Eswatini’s economic transformation agenda.
