The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) proudly congratulates its members Engie, L’Oréal, and Schneider Electric on their inclusion in TIME’s 2025 list of the 100 Most Influential Companies in the world.
This global recognition reaffirms the impact and innovation these French companies continue to drive across sectors, from energy and sustainability to beauty and digital transformation.
Engie, a FSACCI Platinum Member, was recognised for its ambitious shift toward renewable energy and decarbonisation. With investments in solar, wind, clean hydrogen and battery storage, ENGIE is positioning itself as a global leader in the renewable energy transition.
L’Oréal, also a FSACCI Platinum Member, was listed under the “Titans” category. The world’s largest cosmetics company was lauded for its science-led innovation and global growth, particularly through the CeraVe skincare brand, which surpassed $2 billion in annual revenue.
Schneider Electric, a long-standing FSACCI member and global leader in energy management and automation received the "Impact in Sustainability" award for pioneering smart, sustainable solutions for buildings, industries, and data centres, enabling clients to reduce emissions and optimise efficiency.
This recognition is not only a testament to the excellence of these companies but also a reflection of the strong economic and innovation ties between France and South Africa.
As FSACCI continues to support bilateral trade and investment, it celebrates the global influence of its members, shaping a more sustainable, innovative, and inclusive future.
