FSACCI congratulates Springboks for their victory

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Springboks for winning the Rugby World Cup in France 2023.

The South African team, led by Captain Siya Kolisi, won the final against New Zealand to lift the Webb Ellis Cup for the fourth time in their history. The Springboks are the first nation to win the Rugby World Cup four times.

The Chamber believes this triumph will remain one of the country's most shining examples of sportsmanship and virtue.

The chamber would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the French government for hosting a splendid Rugby World Cup and the French Team for making it to the quarter-finals. Les Bleus showcased the best play on the field!

Lastly, we would like to extend our warmest gratitude to our former Annual Gala Dinner partner, Toulon Rugby Club (RCT), who served as the base camp for the Springboks during the pool matches. We would also like to remind you that:

  • FSACCI members can book VIP hospitality services at some of the RCT matches when they are visiting the southern region.
  • FSACCI members can host events at the RCT Campus (a venue available to hire for events).
  • South African companies with business interests in the Southern Region can become sponsors of the RCT
