Looking for a relaxing and cosy week-end or vacation with friends or family? A short 3-hour drive from Johannesburg and located in the malaria-free, 37 000 hectares Big 5 Welgevonden Game Reserve (Waterberg), Metsi Lodge is just the place!
Taking only one party at a time, Metsi Lodge provides an exclusive holiday and ensures guests’ stays are tailormade to their every whim and fancy.
The Lodge has five luxury bedrooms, all overlooking the private waterhole, and can sleep a maximum of 10 guests. It is a fully staffed safari home for rent, perfect for small groups of friends or families, looking to indulge in true African hospitality and total comfort.
The guests have a choice of either Full Board or Self-Catering (with Chef) Options.
Comfortably sitting in their land cruiser game viewer, their highly experienced and fully qualified guide will be leading their guests on memorable tailor-made safaris. The reserve offers Big Five game tracking as well as many species of antelopes and superb birdlife.
Metsi Lodge is one of the only true eco-lodges in Welgevonden Game Reserve. The energy is sourced exclusively from renewable solar power, ensuring that their carbon footprint on the environment is minimal.
Should guests feel the need to keep at pace with the outside world, there is satellite television and unlimited free WiFi access in the main lodge.
