The FSACCI network welcomes new member, The Maker Space Foundation
The Maker Space Foundation is a technology incubator offering access to equipment and training for anyone to make anything. The Maker Space offers access to skills and equipment for prototyping and digital manufacturing. They share expertise in CNC (computer numerically controlled) laser cutting, milling, and additive manufacturing (3D printing), as well as business development through design thinking and lean start-up methodologies.
The technology incubator partners with large organizations to create positive social impact through the training and development of people from previously disadvantaged and marginalized communities. They are certified to provide B-BEEE points in the areas of Enterprise development and socio-economic development.
