Bastille Day Celebration

Bastille Day marks the fall of the Bastille military fortress and political prison in France, which to many people represented the repressive rule of monarchy, in 1789 on the 14th of July.

This was the beginning of the French Revolution and the beginning of the end for the French monarchy.

Today Bastille Day is recognised as The National Day of France and celebrated by French people all over the world.

On the day it is celebrated with fireworks, parades, the military parade on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, being the most popular and well known, people also host parties and communal meals, to signify the unity of French people.

Nous souhaitons un très bon 14 Juillet à toute la communauté Fançaise 🎉
