The FSACCI team is beyond proud to announce that the French National Order of Merit was bestowed upon our Chairman, Dr. Yves Guenon, on Monday 1st of July 2019. He is now Knight of the National Order of Merit.
The National Order of Merit (French: Ordre national du Mérite) is a French order of merit with membership awarded by the President of the French Republic, founded on 3 December 1963 by President Charles de Gaulle. It is the second national Order after the Legion of Honor, its purpose being to reward distinguished service in the military and in the public and private sectors.
Dr. Guénon was recognized for his outstanding contribution to the energy sector, as well as his commitment to continued relations between French and South African business.
