Cotecna is appointed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to issue Certificates of Conformity for regulated goods exported to Zimbabwe. This event allows Cotecna to highlight the CBCA program's importance in ensuring imported products meet quality, safety, and compliance standards, protecting consumers and enhancing market competitiveness.
The ZimSA Business Chamber promotes trade between South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the region. Therefore, by partnering with the Chamber, Cotecna hopes to enhance its understanding of the CBCA program requirements and procedures to ensure smooth and compliant trade operations. It is considered that a substantial amount of Zimbabwe’s imports come from South Africa. It is, therefore, crucial to establish synergy between these two countries for optimal trade.
