Letters published weekly in which the President addresses some of the issues of interest and concern to South Africans and talks about the work the government is doing to address these issues.

Today, the President referred to the declaration of the national state of disaster and to public awareness of the importance of screening and detection, prevention, hygiene control and the importance of social distancing.
