Exciting Opportunity for South African Start-ups: Be part of the 2024 Delegation to Vivatech in Paris!
The French South African Commerce of Industry (FSACCI) is excited to announce an extraordinary opportunity for its members. The Embassy of France in South Africa in collaboration with La French Tech South Africa, are inviting the country’s startups to elevate themselves onto the global stage by joining the South African delegation at Vivatech 2024 in Paris, from May 22nd to May 25th.
Vivatech, Europe's premier event in technology and innovation, serves as a nexus for 11,400 startups, 2,600 venture capitalists, and an audience of 150,000 visitors. With a focus on AI, Climate Tech, Mobility, Deeptech, Future Societies, Internet & Democracy, and Gaming, this year's event promises an immersive experience at the forefront of technological advancement.
The South African delegation participants will enjoy a comprehensive package, including round-trip flights to Paris, accommodation, a 3-day pass to the Vivatech Summit, and a tailored program to explore the French tech and innovation ecosystem. Beyond showcasing their innovations, attendees will have the opportunity to forge valuable connections and glean insights from industry leaders and peers.
Interested startups are encouraged to apply before March 29th by completing the questionnaire available at the provided link. Jury sessions, scheduled for early April (8th-12th) in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, will select the final startups for the delegation.
This initiative aims to propel South African innovation onto a global pedestal, fostering cross-cultural exchange and collaboration in the ever-evolving landscape of technology and entrepreneurship. It stands as a testament to the commitment of both the French and South African governments to nurture and support the burgeoning startup ecosystem.
