NEW MEMBER: Beyond Bars Akademia
Beyond Bars Akademia is a social venture training women ex-inmate to give them the skills needed to ensure full reintegration. BBA’s all-inclusive strategy focuses primarily on reducing the recidivism factors, while simultaneously strengthening the individual, its community and South Africa as a whole.
Based on five pillars: vocational training, mental health support, housing opportunities, employment and Community reconciliation, the program leads to pre-employment hospitality training and sustainable employment at our various partners for successful candidates.
