New President for France's Foreign Trade Advisors in South Africa
Sebastien De Place has recently been promoted to president of the Foreign Trade Advisors for France in South Africa (CCE). The CCE are CEO and top managers of French groups, whose role is to advise the public authorities and promote the internationalization of French companies.
He is also a director at the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) and a member of the Institute of Risk Management in South Africa (IRMSA).
Sebastien de Place has extensive knowledge in financial auditing and advisory. He began his career at Ernst & Young as an auditor in France, before moving to Vietnam where he spent a few years working for Mazars as a senior auditor.
Sebastien later joined the Mazars South African team in 2014 as audit manager and was promoted to the position of Equity Partner in 2020. He currently holds the position of head of business development in South Africa and also coordinates missions within Africa.
Through his management of international group audits and advisory missions across various industry sectors & countries in the past 15 years he has garnered a wealth of skills and expertise.
Sebastien created and currently manages the French Desk for Mazars in South Africa and is also in charge of developing Mazars French Desks in the African region.
