In collaboration with Takatso, a purpose driven start-up providing access to clean, affordable and safe drinking water.

On Monday 25th April 2022, the FSACCI hosted Takatso's launch event to address the water quality and access to safe drinking water. 

Thanks to Flora Boubour, Environment and Climate Attaché at the French Embassy in South Africa for representing the French Ambassador,  Mr Aurélien Lechevallier. And thanks to SANParks for joining the presentation to introduce the Proof Of Concept (POC) achievement in partnership with Takatso that has been implemented near Phalaborwa, in the Kruger National Park.

Water has already become one of the most important worldwide challenge; where water scarcity currently aggravated by climate change.  Water availability is becoming less predictable in many places, and increased incidences of flooding threaten to destroy water points and sanitation facilities and contaminate water sources.

Takatso is a purpose driven start-up (and Member of the FSACCI) providing access to clean, affordable and safe drinking water. The solution is an all-in-one-unit, fully autonomous and self-sustainable. It is provided as an out the the box, plug and play system powered by renewable energies to offer a response to water scarcity.
