Back to Viva Tech, the epicentre of international tech
Last April, the Embassy of France in South Africa, held the French Pitch Challenge in Pretoria on April 24 where 15 start-ups presented their project to a jury to attend Viva Technology in France in June.
The selected start-ups were: Takats'Eau, Mogale Meat, Octiv Fitness, Ipachi Capital-Botswana, Enlabeler Data Labeling Community, Matter Industries, Artfundi, Akiba Digital.
The successful candidates were chosen to attend Viva Tech in Paris, France from the 14th to the 17th of June.
The technology and innovation event connects entrepreneurs from all over the world with potential investors who can propel their start-ups to international recognition. It is one of the biggest start-ups and tech event.
The selected entrepreneurs got to immerse themselves in a tech lover’s dream, by delving into the latest developments, trends and innovations in technology.
They also got the opportunity to network with trailblazers, angel investors, and investment funds, where they were given the opportunity to raise more funds for their companies, exchange and share ideas with possible business partners and get inspiration overall on how to turn their start ups into a thriving corporation.
