Engie aims to accelerate the decarbonization of sea and air transport

Engie joins forces with CMA CGM and Air France-KLM to accelerate the decarbonization of sea and air transport by launching the first industrial-scale renewable and low-carbon fuel platform in Le Havre

Our platinum member Engie is collaborating with another platinum member Air France-KLM and our gold member CMA CGM- in a new project aimed at expediting the decarbonization of sea and air transport.

To meet the needs of the sea industry they partnered with CMA CGM. CMA CGM is at the forefront of sea transportation. To develop the world's first renewable gas production unit based on pyrogasification and methanation.

To meet the needs of the airline industry, ENGIE is to launch the feasibility study for France KerEAUzen, a synthetic fuel production unit based on a combination of renewable hydrogen and CO2 supplied by Salamandre and other local industries.
