FSACCI Seeks Event Coordinator Intern: Shape Your Future in International Business Events!

The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) is offering a dynamic 4-month internship opportunity for an Event Coordinator in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa. This internship can be extended up to a year, providing valuable experience in international business events.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Event Manager to organize and execute successful events.
  • Provide logistical support throughout the event lifecycle, from planning to execution and follow-up.
  • Develop creative ideas to enhance event impact and participant engagement.
  • Assist in securing sponsorships to support FSACCI events.
  • Prepare and distribute event invitations to targeted audiences.
  • Utilize various marketing techniques to drive strong event attendance.
  • Maintain and update member databases for efficient communication.
  • Contribute to projects across other departments, aligning with FSACCI's mission.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in event management is a strong asset.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities are required.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach is crucial.
  • Enthusiasm for gaining experience in an international business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management and social media platforms.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with French language skills being an advantage.
