Havas Africa Network CFO Relocates to South Africa to Drive Regional Growth
Andrea Calva is the CFO of Havas Africa Network since January 2023, which encompasses operations in nine countries across the continent.
Her career began in France with PwC Paris as an external auditor before joining Havas as an internal auditor. After four years, she relocated to Southeast Asia to lead the finance department of Havas Riverorchid Cambodia, subsequently taking on a three-year tenure as the CFO of Havas Riverorchid Group, where she expanded her responsibilities to include Thailand and Myanmar as well.
She holds a master's degree in Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering from Paris-Dauphine University and a bachelor's degree in Finance from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico.
In 2021, she completed the LEAD Certificate at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. As a proud binational, she carries the rich cultural heritages of Mexico and France. Her international experience is a testament to her ability to represent and embody the best of these two worlds with pride and distinction.
Above all, she is the mother to a wonderful six-year-old daughter, an avid reader, world traveler, and a passionate advocate for women's empowerment.
She is thrilled to embark on this exciting journey in South Africa. Her objective is not only to contribute to the expansion of the network but also to gain valuable insights from Havas' employees, as well as to immerse herself in the rich tapestry of South African culture and heritage.
