Internet of Everything Africa III | The Energy Challenge
On the 19th of September, FSACCI - Fliptin Technologies hosted the third and special edition of the Internet of Everything Africa series in partnership with EDF South Africa.
In the third edition of this event series we teamed up with EDF South Africa to discuss <<The Energy Challenge>> and to launch the first EDF Pulse Awards in South Africa.
Dr. Rah Naidoo (University of Pretoria) delivered a keynote that explored what it means to create smart cities in Africa. Following which, we were treated to 5 start-up pitches from the EDF Pulse Africa contestants. Congratulations to the winner of the Awards- Plentify! We wish you luck on your next round in Paris.
Furthermore, we were happy to present the FSACCI 'Coup de Coeur' award to Solar Turtle, congratulations and welcome to the FSACCI network.
It was great to welcome our network to another #IOEAfrica session in the fantastic FutureSpace venue.
