Art of Connection organises an exceptional sale of South African art that was meant to be presented at some of the most renowned fairs in Paris.
The MAISHA tables are contemporary creations that were exhibited for the first time on the South African stand at the REVELATIONS exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris in May 2019.
For several generations, master weavers of the KZN have been creating the traditional Zulu baskets woven with Ilala palm from the wetlands. Each piece is unique in shape and design. The colour of the fibres is obtained through a natural colouring process.
