The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 19, 2024, at its offices in Sandton and Cape Town.
The gathering provided a platform for members to review the chamber's performance in the past year and elect directors.
Key Highlights from the AGM:
📌 Annual Report Presentation: Dr. Yves Guenon, Chairperson of FSACCI, delivered a comprehensive annual report highlighting the chamber's achievements and challenges in 2023. The report focused on key areas such as communication, events, and financial performance.
📌 Board Elections: Members of FSACCI participated in the election of two of its board of directors (as per the MOI) to oversee the chamber's activities for the coming year. The elected board will be responsible for setting strategic direction, representing members' interests, and fostering business relationships between France and South Africa.
The AGM was followed by a cocktail network in Johannesburg and a social gathering in Cape Town at a restaurant.
The AGM was a significant event for FSACCI, allowing members to connect, share insights, and contribute to the chamber's continued growth and success.
