Back-to | Nedbank Investment Property Dialogue
On Thursday 11th September, the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) platinum member Nedbank organised an Investment Property Dialogue in Cape Town. The dialogue brought together leaders from the banking sector, the Western Cape Government, and the real estate industry to discuss the current state and future opportunities in South Africa’s property market.
The Chamber was delighted to attend and invite members such as Saint-Gobain, Veolia, the French Consulate, and the ESUS Group to this important exchange.
From speeches on the economic situation of the Western Cape to panel discussions on domestic and commercial property markets, the dialogue showed both the challenges and opportunities in South Africa’s property landscape. There is clear momentum in commercial property investment, affordable housing, and sustainable development initiatives and collaboration between the private sector, government, and foreign investors will be crucial in unlocking the sector’s potential in the coming years in the Western Cape.
We are pleased that Saint-Gobain shared their appreciation of the dialogue and expressed their willingness to participate in future similar events, which underlines the importance of such initiatives in long-term cooperation and knowledge-sharing between France and South Africa.
We are grateful to Nedbank for welcoming FSACCI and fellow European chamber representatives to be part of this important dialogue. FSACCI looks forward to engaging with Nedbank in more events to support this market.
