Tourism & Hospitality is, undisputedly, a key economic and strategic sector in South Africa. The industry is creating jobs and a driver of economic growth. Yet, the global Covid-19 pandemic and ongoing lockdown in South Africa has put a full stop to this rapid and promising growth.
In this context, the French, American British, Austrian, Belgian, German, Spanish Chambers of Commerce & SAChefs led a ‘Tourism & Hospitality in the Covid-19 context’ Survey from the 14th to the 27th of July 2020 to better understand industry players' challenges and needs.
This webinar was an opportunity to present the survey report and most importantly discuss the future of Tourism & Hospitality in South Africa.
