FSACCI Joins Bastille Day Celebration at the French Residence
The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) took part in the Bastille Day celebration hosted by the French Embassy on 14 July 2025 at the residence of the French Ambassador, David Martinon.
FSACCI was represented by members of its Board of Directors, Senior Council, and team.
The event brought together French and South African officials, business leaders, and members of the diplomatic and cultural community to honour France’s National Day and the strong ties between the two countries.
Ambassador David Martinon and the Deputy Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Bernice Swarts, spoke on the continued cooperation between France and South Africa, highlighting the importance of sustainable development and the ongoing partnership in the Just Energy Transition.
A highlight of the evening was a fashion show that showcased creative links between France and South Africa, reinforcing the power of cultural exchange.
