FSACCI Represented at Africa Forward by Its Leadership
The chairperson and the Directors of the French South Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), Dr. Yves Guénon and Mr. Sebastian De Place, represented the FSACCI at the African Forward: Inspired & Connect business forum, which took place in Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday, 11 May 2026.
The different CCI France in Africa were also represented with the presence of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in South Africa, Mozambique, Mauritius, Uganda, Tanzania & Kenya.
The summit brought together Mr Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and Mr William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, and African heads of state and government.
The purpose of the forum was to highlight the depth of Franco-African economic partnerships by showcasing projects, innovations, and initiatives led by the private sector.
The presence of the Chairperson and Mr. Sebastian De Place reflects, FSACCI’s continued commitment to strengthening economic ties between South Africa, France, and the wider African continent. It also highlights the chambers’ role in connecting business leaders, fostering partnerships, and supporting concrete investment and tracking opportunities.
Through their presence, Dr. Guenon and Mr. De Place, successfully engaged with key stakeholders, contributed to discussions on innovation and growth, and further positioned FSACCI as a key facilitator of Franco-African business collaboration.
