Inauguration of the new Veolia's chemical production facility in Johannesburg
On June 28th, Veolia Water Technologies has inaugurated its new chemical production facility in Johannesburg, in the presence of Hachmi Kennou, Governor of the World Water Council, and Claude Laruelle, Chairman of Veolia Water Technologies.
The construction started on September 28th 2017, and involved 43 subcontractors. The new facility offers a production capacity of between 900 and 1,000 tons per month, and will be used for the blending of Veolia's Hydrex range of chemicals.
Employing 40 people, the facility will become the bulk of the export business into the rest of Africa, forming part of Veolia's Ambitions for Africa plan.
