L'Oréal South Africa Announces Grants for Women in Science Program
L'Oréal South Africa, a member of the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), is proud to announce the sixth edition of its For Women in Science South Africa National Young Talents Programme. This initiative aims to empower young African women in science by identifying and rewarding talented researchers across various fields.
The program focuses on Formal Sciences, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, and Technological Sciences. It seeks to recognize six exceptional South African women for their outstanding research and inspire them to continue flourishing in scientific careers within any South African province.
Funding Opportunities:
- Three PhD fellowships of R80,000 each will be awarded to South African doctoral researchers enrolled in a local institution and completing their studies in a research laboratory.
- Three postdoctoral fellowships of R160,000 each will be granted to South African postdoctoral researchers working in a laboratory or institute registered in South Africa.
These research endowments are awarded under the umbrella of the global L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science partnership, a program dedicated to supporting and promoting women in scientific fields.
