Seah4 wins Southern Africa EDF Pulse Africa Tour
EDF Pulse Africa tour of the Southern Africa leg has wrapped in Pretoria on Wednesday 18 October 2023 at the French Embassy.
This year's theme for the 5th edition focused on African SME or start-ups, with innovative solution in the field of low carbon energy.
Several entrepreneurs presented their innovate projects in the presence of French Ambassador David Martinon, and a panel of experts.
The first prize winner of the Southern African leg of the tour went to SeaH4 PTY Ltd.
SeaH4 is a startup that offers 3rd generation Biofuels as a net zero CO2 alternative to fossil fuels without the need for additional investments in transport infrastructure. This solution aligns with the country's mission to achieve net zero CO2 emissions and foster the development of rural communities.
EDF Pulse Africa Tour is set to take place in six regions in Africa, Nairobi, Casablanca, Maputo, Pretoria, Douala and Abidjan 9th November.
SeaH4 PTY Ltd will join the other two finalists Pylon (YC S21), Knights Energy Kenya for the Grand Finale of EDF Pulse Africa 2023 in December.
