World AIDS Day 2023: FSACCI Stands in Solidarity for "Remember and Commit"

Marking its 35th year, World AIDS Day's theme, "World AIDS Day 35: Remember and Commit," serves as a poignant call to action against HIV-related stigma.

This annual event honors those lost and advocates for a future where HIV is no longer a public health threat.

The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) adds its voice to the global call for action, emphasizing the collective efforts needed to address stigma and challenges associated with the virus.

Since its inception in 1988, World AIDS Day has been pivotal in raising awareness, fostering understanding, and commemorating lives affected by the epidemic.

Over the past 35 years, significant progress has been made in HIV and AIDS research, treatment access, and understanding of the virus.

World AIDS Day stands testament to the resilience of affected communities, urging sustained commitment to addressing remaining challenges.

As the world reflects on the strides made, FSACCI stands in solidarity, acknowledging the ongoing journey to a stigma-free future.

The 35th commemoration emphasizes both reflection and dedication, fostering a shared commitment to ending the HIV epidemic once and for all.
