Held this week in Kigali, Rwanda, the forum, co-organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group, convened over 2,000 leaders from Africa's private sector and the global investment community.

Stenning made his remarks while participating in a roundtable discussion led by Gaelle Arenson, Editor-in-Chief of Africa Business+, titled "Unearthing Economic Growth Through Major Mining Projects."

Highlighting the Lobito Corridor as a prime example, Stenning underscored the importance of reliable rail networks over road transportation for the efficient and sustainable movement of large mining volumes. He further emphasized the immense potential inherent in the Lobito project.
