Saint-Gobain: 5 Year Commitment to Renovating Mvelaphanda Primary School

Saint-Gobain commits to the improvement of the educational facilities at Tembisa's Mvelaphanda Primary School

In the presence of the French Ambassador to South Africa, H.E. Aurelien Lechevallier, Saint-Gobain confirmed its 5-year commitment in partnership with Mvelaphanda Primary School in Tembisa. 

 

Through this partnership the school will undergo renovations and will be provided with functional and modern facilities by Saint-Gobain, which will ultilately promote the quality teaching and learning experience of the primary school students. 

 

By 2025 Saint-Gobain aims to have:
   • provided a new and refurbished library;
   • planted gardens;
   • modernised classrooms for improved learning;
   • upgraded the school kitchen;
   • improved playgrouns and school security;
   • set-up computer labs;
   • and have established career days with leading organisations.
