The Alliance Française in Cape Town celebrates its 60th Anniversary!
Founded in 1959, the Alliance Française du Cap is celebrating an incredible 60 years in Cape Town this year.
A meeting place for francophones and francophiles alike, many life goals, dreams of travel, discovery and adventure, career aspirations and love stories have been born at the Alliance Française du Cap... but this is merely the beginning!
Film screenings, concerts, French lessons, theatre, translation, media library, markets, art exhibitions... or simply speaking French and ordering a coffee at the bar... many more stories will be written in this unique space where France and South Africa meet.
To celebrate six decades in Cape Town, an event will be held at their premises on Friday 15 November from 7pm.
We hope you will join them for a photo on the red carpet... or on the dance floor with a glass of champagne!
