The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) joined member Wiltons and partners to host the Women in Leadership Connect event on 12 March 2026 at Workshop17 The Bank.
The event brought together leaders from business and education for a dialogue on leadership and shared experience.
Partners included Kasada Capital Management, Workshop17, Proud Mary, and The Hyde Johannesburg. The programme formed part of activities linked to International Women’s Day and created a platform for open discussion on leadership across different sectors.
Speakers included corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and school principals from across South Africa. Participants shared practical insights on leadership challenges, decision-making, and community impact.
Business leaders such as Buhle Ndlovu, Principal at Investment Kasada, Atisha Gopichund-Lutchman, Managing Director of Insulation at Saint-Gobain, and Liezl Gericke, Head of International at Virgin Atlantic, joined education leaders including Celiwe Mpangane of Takheni Secondary School and Mbali Goba of Masakhane Combined School. Their discussion highlighted the links between leadership in business and leadership in schools.
Facilitator Zed Xaba guided the conversation, encouraging participants to reflect on leadership values, resilience, and responsibility.
The programme ended with a networking session at Proud Mary. Guests continued the discussion and strengthened professional connections between the business and education communities.
Through this event, FSACCI and its partners created a platform for dialogue that connects corporate leadership with community leadership across South Africa.
