France Shines as Europe’s Top Investment Destination at Johannesburg Breakfast Event
"On the morning of 20 August 2025, Johannesburg played host to a dynamic and insightful breakfast event that spotlighted France as Europe’s leading destination for foreign investment. Organized in partnership with Forvis Mazars South Africa, the gathering brought together a vibrant mix of South African entrepreneurs, investors, and trade representatives eager to explore the wealth of opportunities France has to offer.
Held in an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation, the event featured a distinguished lineup of speakers who shared their expertise and perspectives on the evolving investment landscape. Among them were H.E. David Martinon, French Ambassador to South Africa, Malawi, and Lesotho; Mr. Sébastien de Place, Partner at Forvis Mazars; Mr. Olivier Perillat, Managing Director at Club Med Southern Africa; Ms. Nicole Blasyk, Project Director – Inward Investments for Sub-Saharan Africa at Business France; and Dr. Stavros Nicolaou, Group Senior Executive: Strategic Trade at Aspen Pharma Group.
